Well, "friend" isn't quite the right way of putting it. [He was closer to Jeeves than he was to pretty much anybody, but the domestics weren't supposed to be friends.]
Jeeves is my valet. I employ him, although I have occasionally loaned out his brilliant mind to friends in need, and he's butled for my aged a. a time or two.
